NYC or bust
Thursday night I went to NYC for a few things. I had to go and pick up 2 dogs to bring back to the kennel for training. I brought 4 dogs with me for the ride...Max,Uma,Bella and Dharma. We parked in a great spot on East 84th Street as far east as possible overlooking the river. It was a great spot and I had a meeting first thing in the morning with my TV producer..who has been shopping around a TV show about me. She is pitching a reality show about my dog training around to the networks....
I then headed downtown to meet up with Olivia (18yr old daughter) for lunch at an outdoor cafe, I was able to park in front of the restaurant..i could not find a parking spot..no one would let me park in their parking lot with dogs in the car, and parking in Soho was all limited to delivery vehicles loading and unloading...so...considering I was picking up 2 dogs and also having lunch with my daughter..i figured a 65 dollar ticket would be just the cost of business....ironically i never did get a ticket and I was parked for 4 hours and I also had 2 people call me from NYC that saw my van in the street...so.....I picked up the dogs and with 6 dogs in the van we headed back to Providence.

my crew enjoying a nice sunrise before a long morning NYC walk

My crew hanging out on an overpass the night we arrived in NYC.....

My crew hanging out at a streetcorner while I drink my morning coffee...hundreds of people walked by us along with dozens of dogs...NYC is great for distraction training...the dogs did great...

I put up a barrier for my new clients, I was not sure how all 6 dogs where going to react...they all got along great...it was quite the ride home...me and 6 dogs...it was fun and tiring and we got home friday night...I spent another hour getting all of the dogs settled in...
so.........romy and clover at in bed...lucy has a friend sleeping over...linda went out tonight..and I am getting lots of weekly paperwork done....i have a client at 7am tomorrow..and then its a day full of on the road and kennel dogs..
